Unscripted Sketch #163

Tonight I am posting a Birthday card I made for one of my nephews.  He is 38 but I loved this image...  he does play guitar and who doesn't love a cute image...?  I know his wife will love it!!  Guess I will find out tomorrow...  =)

I used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches.  Great sketch to show off some "manly" papers!!
The stamp is one I just got from Lili of the Valley.  It is stamped with Momento Black Tuxedo, colored in with Copics, fussy cut and mounted with Pop Dots.  The papers are My Mind's Eye Stella Rose - Hattie.  The ribbon is from Close to My Heart.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend!!

  1. How fun is this card?! I just love the boy learning how to play guitar and the puppy singing (or howling) along. The color combination is great, and your shading technique is superb!

  7. Awesome image and awesome fussy cutting! You did a fantastic job pulling the colors from the patterned paper into your beautifully colored image!
