Father's Day... Comin' up!!

Father's Day has become a large family celebration which includes more than just family.  We started celebrating Father's Day many years ago at our family Beach House.  We would always take a picture of the grandchildren, have a cook out and play croquet and wiffle ball.  My Dad passed away 6 years ago, but we still gather at the Beach House for Father's Day.  It is an unspoken tradition that just "happens" and has grown to extended family and friends.  I hear 50+ are expected this year!!  That's a lot of burgers and dogs!!   I'm posting a pic from 18 years ago...  Michael was missing that year so the "kids" concocted a stand in for him - can you tell which one that is??

The card I made is for my husband and is based on the Sketch at Retro Sketches and the Color Challenge at Perfect Sentiment
The DP is from Echo Park Note to Self by Lori Whitlock.  The CS and ribbon is from my stash and the brads are CtMH.  The stamp ENJOY your day is from Verve.

Thanks so much for visiting!!
