The 4th of July!!

Last night I made a card to celebrate the 4th of July.  I know a few people whose birthday is on the 4th.  The Challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog is to Celebrate Red - White & Blue!  I love this sweet image of Sassy Sally reading to her bear and in this image she is reading the story of 1776...  =)  I used the sketch from the Retro Sketches Challenge #17.  I colored the image with Copics.  The DP is from my stash.  The clear button (tied with Baker's Twine), the white Rickrack and the sentiment (stamped in Star Spangled Blue ink) are from Close to My Heart.  I fussy cut the image out and mounted her with Pop Dots.

Now, I best get ready for work...  Happy Monday everyone!!

  1. Sally. . . . SALLY looks amazing! Super fun and cute. It's adorable. I have an aunt, who's b-day is also on the 4th and this beautiful card would be fab for just that reason. It's lovely.
