Retro Sketch #1

While eating my most favorite salad for lunch today (parmesan crusted chicken over greens with onions, goat cheese, slivered almonds and a light honey mustard dressing - YUM) I happened upon a NEW sketch blog - the debut week - how fun is that!!  Retro Sketches - such a cool idea!  The DT's pull an "older" card from their stash and "remake" it  thus the "Retro Sketch".

I flipped the sketch and used papers from the Close to My Heart Sonoma pack.  The sentiment is from Verve - Nehemiah 3:17 stamped in Smokey Plum.  The card seemed a bit empty, so I added 3 pearls in opposite corners, top and bottom.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week crafting!!

And your card is pretty awesome too. I love the paper you used for the 3 strips, and how they still combine to create the image. Thanks for playing along for our very first Retrosketches challenge.
