Make it a Double!

Tonight I made a Father's Day card - wow, this crafting has me way ahead of the game!!  I not only used the colors for inspiration at The Color Throwdown Challenge, but the picture as well.  It hit me how the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches reminded me of an aquarium - so I put the two challenges together, found a stamp set I hadn't used yet but have had for a long while and came up with this card.  The Stamp set is Close to My Heart World's Best Dad.  I used quite a few of the stamps and stamped them with Desert Sand, Outdoor Denim and Black.  The fish were colored in with CtMH markers in Sweet Leaf and Sunny yellow.  A few of the fish were attached with Pop Dots.  Each fish has a teeny tiny opaque pearl, either black, or blue for an eye.
My only challenge left for this card will be to remember where I put it come Father's Day!!

  1. Adorable card! I love how you have the fish going from one circle to the next. Thanks for playing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. Great card! Love the theme and how you pulled it all together. Really nice Man-Card! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  3. I love your card! I combined the same challenges, but I love yours so much better! I really wanted to do fish too, but I didn't have the stamps so I did flowers. Maybe one day I'll get a fish stamp set so I can case your card :)

  4. What a fabulous card this is ....I love your creativity and your inspiration is amazing!
Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!!!
