The Color Throwdown #182

Love color challenges, especially this one =)  The Color Throwdown!  I have to say that I must be more tired than I thought I was.  I chose my papers to incorporate the 4 colors, that worked out well...  I also chose what I thought was a current sketch challenge from a Blog I found today.  After finishing my card I realized it was a challenge from early January!!  hahaha...  oh dear...
I stepped outside of my comfort zone with this card and did some distressing.  I usually like my lines clean, but this paper seemed to need to be distressed.  I used a base of Lagoon card stock.  The background paper has prints of a dress pattern - wow what memories that paper brings back!!  I actually crumpled it in my hand and roughed up the edges of all pieces with a distressing tool.  All of the paper is Close to My Heart, the bulk of it from the Stella collection, and the smaller circle from Pemberley.  The sentiment is Verve, inside the wish continues and says... "a year full of blessings".  The buttons and ribbon are CtMH.
Thanks for stopping by  =)
