Tuesday Throwdown Time!!

Hey there Crafty Friends!!  It's Tuesday!!  Time for Team B to bring some inspiration over at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #185.  This week's Sponsor is Robyn's Fetish!!  The Challenge this week is to make a card with a Card Topper!  I had never made one of these before...  Be sure to visit the Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has come up with - very cute cards!!

I chose this wonderful Sunflower image from our Sponsor...  Here's my card...

I used papers from my Stash, colored up the image with Copic Markers, added a button and some twine and stamped a sentiment and then added it with Pop Dots.

I hope you'll check out the Challenge and play along!!

Blessings to you!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 with a Twist!

February is drawing to close which means a couple of things...  we are so very close to warmer weather here in New England AND it's the last Wednesday Challenge at SSW2 which means there is an added TWIST!!

This week I chose to use Sketch SSW2 02

This week, Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 is Sponsored by...

I just adore her sweet images!!  You can check them our by visiting her Blog - click HERE

I chose this Sweet Pure Innocence image.  Can you guess what the TWIST is to the Challenge this week??  It's one of my favorite techniques to use...  Monochromatic!!   I just love all the shades of pinks in this card  so fun to color it up and choose the papers!!

I hope you will head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and check out the rest of the Design Team's creations...  Lots of inspiration to be found!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Blessings to you!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!

I absolutely cannot believe how fast the week's go by...  do you feel the same??  Here in New England we seem to be getting snow twice a week - now, I'm not complaining because I DO love the snow and I am not fond of HOT weather, but it seems funny to me that every time I am preparing a Post, it's been snowing...

So, here I am, Wednesday again =) I do love Wednesdays, and I do love sharing the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Sketch with you all!!  Have you checked out the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Facebook page yet??  I have the pleasure of featuring some of my favorite cards - lots of awesome creations to get your creative juices flowing...  why not check it out by clicking HERE

Hey there friends!!  Another week has gone by and it's time for a new Challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!  Hope you have all found time during this cold weather to get to your Craft Rooms and create!!  I wish I could find more time...  but I'm thankful for the time I do have to get crafty!!

This week the Sponsor at SSW2 is Pattie's Creations.  Head on over to her ETSY shop and check out her creations by clicking HERE.  This week's Winner will receive two free images!!

With Valentine's Day only a couple of days away, I chose to use her cute image "Sea Horse Love" to make a card for my daughter and her husband.  I haven't used your typical Valentine colors for this card, but it will do the trick anyway as my daughter (for some reason unknown to me) LOVES Sea Horses...hmmm...

First, I'll share this week's Sketch...

The center can either be a hexagon or a circle...

and here's my card...

Thanks so much for stopping by!!  Be sure to stop by Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and check out the rest of the Design Team's creations!!

I finished off my card with satin pink polka ribbon and white shear ribbon tied in a bow.
