A Wedding Card

Quick post this morning of the Wedding Card I made for my daughter and son-in-law!!  I used a SSW Sketch from a few week's back, a sweet Lili of the Valley stamp, some fun papers from a new 12 x 12 pad I bought, organza ribbon and some silky flowers from my stash.  The stamp is colored with Copics and embellished with some sparkly liquid shimmer from Close to My Heart.

Happy Birthday Axel!!

I made a card this morning for my Great-Nephew who is turning 4.  I combined two Challenges - Sketch Saturday (a Sketch) and Lili's Little Fairies (Pastels).  I love the LotV stamp of the boy playing guitar.  It may seem a bit old for a 4 year old, but Axel is so into music and actually teaching himself piano...  I am on the lookout for a piano image...  For now, the guitar will do just fine!!

The papers are MME and the image is colored with Copics, fussy cut and mounted with Pop Dots.

Ava Rose is 5!!

I made a sweet little card for a sweet little girl who is turning 5 - one whole hand!!  She is into everything pink =)  I used the Sketch from The Sweet Stop along with a favorite stamp from Lili of the Valley - their Challenge at Lillies Little Fairies Challenge Blog this week is Anything Goes.  I colored the image with Copics and added some sparkle!!  The papers are from Authentique 6 x 6 Bundle - Lovely.

Just a Hint of... PINK!

Last night I made a card for a friend whose signature color is PINK!!  She gave me the most special gift a few days ago, and I wanted to thank her in a special way...

I used a sweet image and Sentiment from Lili of the Valley.  I love their images and think it would be a good idea for them to have a store state side... don't you think?  The papers I chose are from My Mind's Eye.  The paper flowers are Recollections and the ribbon is from my stash.  The image is colored with Copics and I finished the card off with GLITZ Stardust from Close to My Heart.

Happy Anniversary!!

 
Same LoTV stamp, different Sketch...  What can I say?  I needed to make one more Anniversary card for this weekend, and I just LOVE this stamp =)  The Sketch is from the Challenge over at Sketch Saturday.  I used some cute new paper I picked up from My Mind's Eye Six x Six.  Love the light blue and brown combo!!  The ribbon is from my stash.  The stamp is colored with Copics, fussy cut out and mounted with pop dots.

Happy Birthday Sophie!!

Sophie is the cutest little girl at my church - she is turning 6 and is SO EXCITED about her birthday next week!!  Last night I made her this card - so Sophie!!  The image is from Lili of the Valley.  I used the Sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and some beautiful DP from Cosmo Cricket (part of my Taylored Expressions July Kit that arrived yesterday!!).  The flowers are Recollections and the ribbon is from my stash.

The DP is from Authentique - Fresh.  The image is LoTV such a cute little girl rushing to get the cake to the party!!  I colored her in with Copics and then fussy cut her out.  The Bakers Twine is from The Twinery and the button is from my stash.  I added some Liquid Ice to the icing on the cake and some glittery gel hi-lights.  The sentiment on the inside is Happy Birthday from Verve.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #151

Tonight I created a Birthday card using the Sketch from this week's Challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I used a new to me stamp from Lili of the Valley.  How cute is that little girl carrying that BIG cake?!?!?  I colored her in with Copic markers and then fussy cut her out.  I added Liquid Glass (Close to My Heart) to the icing and her cute stars attached to her headband.  The papers are from Bo Bunny - Country Garden Collection.  The embellishments are from my stash.

Unscripted Sketch #163

Tonight I am posting a Birthday card I made for one of my nephews.  He is 38 but I loved this image...  he does play guitar and who doesn't love a cute image...?  I know his wife will love it!!  Guess I will find out tomorrow...  =)

I used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches.  Great sketch to show off some "manly" papers!!
The stamp is one I just got from Lili of the Valley.  It is stamped with Momento Black Tuxedo, colored in with Copics, fussy cut and mounted with Pop Dots.  The papers are My Mind's Eye Stella Rose - Hattie.  The ribbon is from Close to My Heart.

Kay is Getting Married!!!

Today I made a card for a girl at work who is getting married this weekend!!  She LOVES the color purple.  I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches and they added a twist this week...  use black, kraft and a color.  I started out with a stamp from Lili of the Valley that I have been waiting to use...  SO CUTE!!  I colored the sweet couple in with Copics and hi-lited the bridal dress and flowers with a bit of bling (CtMH) =)  The DP and purple CS is also CtMH and the Kraft CS is Recollections with raised polka dots.  I wasn't sure that I was going to like the Kraft with the purple but I LOVE it!!!  The White and purple flowers are from my stash along with the white organdy ribbon.

Lili of the Valley

This card is for two Challenges.  Lili's Little Fairies Challenge which is Anything Goes using a LOTV image and Card Positioning Systems Challenge, a Sketch Challenge. 

I chose this sweet little image of the Birthday Cupcake for the Dog - I actually have two dogs both with Birthdays this month - now there's a little inspiration!!  My DP is My Mind's Eye Lost & Found - Girl.  The CS is Close to My Heart as are as the buttons.  The chocolate brown polka dot ribbon is from my stash.

Get Well Wishes

Today my Monthly Kit arrived from Taylored Expressions - lots of bright, bright papers and ribbons that I couldn't wait to use (along with some other goodies =).  What a great week this is turning out to be - two packages back to back!!

Last night I had colored this sweet image from Lili of the Valley and it went perfectly with the papers!!  The Challenge at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge Blog this week is BEARS!!  SCORE!!  I used the sketch from the Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge.  This is my first CCCC challenge.  I really like the sketch.  Lots and lots of layers. I flipped the sketch.  I backed each DP with bright yellow CS and chose a bright yellow ribbon and buttons from my CS.

Me and My Pony...

Today I had a package waiting for me when I got home - my order from Lili of the Valley!!  YAY!!!  I couldn't wait to get started!!  My daughter-in-law had a pony growing up and I just had to get this stamp - the sentiment inside (CtMH) is simply Just Because.  I can't wait to give it to her =)

I used the sketch from this week's Challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog.  I am also entering this card in Lili's Little Fairies Blog Challenge which is to use your favorite tool - the tool you couldn't do without!  I have two favorite tools and I used them both.  My Copics and my CtMH Cutting Tool.  I love to fussy cut the images and this knife is the best!!

I used papers from my stash of "extra" 6x6 papers and black ribbon from my stash.

Birthday Wishes

I love the Lili of the Valley rubber stamps.  The images are so sweet and cut very well.  They give a nice even stamp image.  Tonight I used a sweet little fairy image.  Seems like I am always in need of Birthday cards, and she is certainly full of Birthday Wishes!!  I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  The papers are from sei 6x6 Vanilla Sunshine.  I love the sparkly pink paper - one of my favorites!!  I tied the white sheer ribbon from top to bottom and tied double knots with a bit of bling at each center for the three flowers.
