Choose Your Challenge... at Fresh Brewed Designs!!

It's Wednesday and time for the kick off of the February monthly Challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs!  Check out the Badge.  You have your choice of using the wonderful Sketch or the awesome yummy photo as the inspiration for your card!!  If you are having trouble deciding which to use, why not both!!

Here is my creation using both the Sketch and the photo inspiration...

I used the wonderful image "Warm My Heart Mug" along with a new paper pad from My Mind's Eye that I recently picked up with all sorts of sweet Valentine papers, to that I added some blue ribbon from my stash and a chip board heart paper pieced with sweet plaid paper!!  The mug is colored with Copics, I could go for a Warm Mug of coffee right about now, but then I could always go for a warm mug of coffee =)

I hope you will head on over to Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog and check out the rest of the Design Team's creations - some very talented ladies over there!!  Also, be sure to stop by the SHOP, always something new to see, in fact, check back on Monday for some fun, we have a Digi Release Blog Hop coming up, you don't want to miss it!!

Thanks so much for visiting - I appreciate you a "latte"!!

Blessings to you!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and Bugaboo Stamps

Happy Wednesday everyone...  what a busy day!!  Here in Massachusetts we are in the midst of yet another Snow storm...  waiting to see if it will be a day I can get to work, or a day I stay in my Craft Room...  (guess which one I am hoping for... ;-)

This week our Challenge is Sponsored by Jodie and Bugaboo Stamps.  Here is a little about Jodi and Bugaboo...

Everything that you ever wanted to know about Bugaboo Stamps:  As if raising 5 children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the work of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. Bugaboo Stamps has become one of the leading companies in digital images. From seiously snarky to sugar sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!!  If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampilicious.  And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for the weekly Challenges at Catch the Bug.

Fresh Brewed Designs welcomes New DT!!

Today is an exciting day over at Fresh Brewed Designs!!  Today Heather is introducing some new members to her Design Team and I am excited to say that I am one of them =)  I love Heather's sweet spirit and I love her images!!  Yesterday morning before work I broke out this sweet rubber stamp I purchased some time ago of a Coffee Truck - how cool would that be to have a coffee truck drive up to your house just like the ice cream trucks =)  It would certainly put a smile on my face!!

So, in anticipation of all the fun that lies ahead, I am sharing this card with you using a favorite stamp - kind of like a blast from the past...

Thanks Heather - I look forward to creating with you and all the other Design Team Members!!

Thanks so much for stopping by - be sure to stop over at Fresh Brewed Designs and check out all that is going on - Fun Times ahead for sure!!

Many Blessings to you!!

All Aboard the Love Train!!

Hi friends!!  It's time for a new Sketch Challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!  This week we are Sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs!!  I'm excited by that for so many reasons!!!  I love their images and I love coffee AND I think the Owner Heather is pretty sweet too!!

I chose the cool image Love Train Mouse with the equally cool sentiment!!  When my son was little he LOVED trains!!  Right now we are waiting for my son and his wife's first baby to arrive, my first Grandson!!  I'm thinking he is quite comfortable as he is a handful of days overdue right now... Something tells me it won't be long now and soon enough I will be up in the attic retrieving my son's trains for the two of them to enjoy together!!

For now, on with this week's Sketch...

And, my card...  All Aboard the Love Train!!

The paper is a retired pack from Close to My Heart.  The image is colored with Copics and I added a bit of paper piecing to the "heart" car...  I used a heart border die and finished the card off with some brads from my stash.

I hope you will head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and check out the rest of the Design Team's cards.  So very awesome!!  I'm excited to say that each week we have had a few more join us which makes me smile!!  We on the Design Team LOVE to see all the amazing creations each week, so, why not play along??  We'll be glad you did!!  AND Heather is offering 3 Fresh Brewed Designs images to the Winner of our Challenge this week!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and be sure to check back often, there just may be a baby picture or two very soon!!!

Blessings to you!!
