33 years later...

Saturday was my Anniversary.  My husband Joe and I were married 33 years ago.  Where does the time go?!?!?  Earlier last week this cute little picture was on my daily Mary Engelbreit calendar.  The bride even has red hair.  I cut it out and decided to use it on my husband's Anniversary card.  I used the Sketch over at Sketch Saturday.  The papers are from My Mind's Eye and Pink CS from my scrap pile.  I used a scalloped border punch from Fiskars and a bit of bling from Close to My Heart.  I kept it Plain and Simple to keep it from being too feminine ;-)

Got Cake??

Another Birthday Card needed...  Tonight I used the Sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  Love their sketches!!  Great sketches to showcase favorite papers =)  Tonight I used paper from My Mind's Eye Six by Six - Vanity Fair.  I used a favorite retired stamp set of mine from Close to My Heart Piece of Cake.  I used Memento Black Tuxedo Ink and colored it in with Copics.  I cut the image out and mounted it with Pop Dots.  Some Baker's Twine, a happy Raspberry button from my stash and a Happy Birthday "ticket" finish off the embellishments.

You Are My Sunshine

Tonight I made a card for two Challenges.  The Saturated Canary - Black & White + One!! and {Freshly Made} Sketches.  I used one of the Freebie images and chose Yellow as my + One!!
The Black papers are from My Mind's Eye - Meadow Lark 6x6 paper pad.  The yellow polka dot paper is from my stash.  The black ribbon and the sparkle - GLITZ Stardust glitter gel are both Close to My Heart.  The Sentiment is from LORi Boyd.  The image is colored with Copics.  I fussy cut her out and mounted her with Pop Dots.

Wedding Wishes!!

Today I created a Wedding Card using the sketch at Sketch Saturday.  I am also entering this card in the Challenge over at Word Art Wednesday.  The Sketch was perfect for the sentiment I wanted to use.  1 Corinthians 13:4-8.  I used papers from the 6x6 Designer Pad from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found - Blush.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I also used Opaques from Close to My Heart on both the card and the envelope and flowers from Recollections on the envelope.  The sentiment inside the card is from Verve.  Bob and Patty's Wedding was today and the weather was perfect!

Happy Birthday Sophie!!

Sophie is the cutest little girl at my church - she is turning 6 and is SO EXCITED about her birthday next week!!  Last night I made her this card - so Sophie!!  The image is from Lili of the Valley.  I used the Sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and some beautiful DP from Cosmo Cricket (part of my Taylored Expressions July Kit that arrived yesterday!!).  The flowers are Recollections and the ribbon is from my stash.

Big Birthday Wishes!!

Last night I made a card for a young "Tween" at my church.  I used a cute image from Saturated Canary - their Challenge this week is to add a bit of bling. I used the Sketch from Sketch Saturday.  I'm entering this card in both Challenges. 

I love this Sketch - perfect for adding "Bling"!!  The papers are from my stash (love using those scraps =).  The image is colored with Copics and then fussy cut and mounted with Pop Dots.  The chip board hearts are daubed with Petal Ink and then hi-lited with Add Glitz Glitter Gel - all Close to My Heart.  The "jewels" are also CtMH.

Birthday Girl!!

Last night I made a card based on the Sketch over at Sketch Saturday.  For those of you who have read my last few posts - this is the card I am sending to Mahalia... ;)  the image is from Mo Manning - Mo's Digital Pencil.  I colored her in with my Copics and then fussy cut her out.  The papers are from my stash.  I used Baker's Twine and clear buttons (CtMH) and the sentiment Birthday Girl from LoTV.
