Show me...

So, it's Wednesday morning, I'm at work and the first thing I did was check in on Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  I like to see what the sketch is and start ideas running through my head while I work...  This week's Sponsor is Sassy Cheryl's Digital Images.  Well, I am in love with her super cute images!!  I did some poking around her Blog and happened upon this challenge - Show me #69.  Post a picture of what you are doing...  I'm sure it's supposed to be crafty, and I will do better next time, but, this is what I am doing right now and I so can't wait to get home tonight (no outside commitments tonight YAY!!) and start playing with the SSW Sketch and an image from Sassy Cheryl's Digis!!
When my oldest nephews were young (they are now 40!!) they had trouble pronouncing their L's so I was "Sassy" - Love that Cheryl has a character Sassy Sally - I know I was supposed to find this site!!
Now I best get to work - need to get through several piles of paper and finish up some projects...  The fun will begin when I get home tonight!!

all you need is LOVE...

Hope everyone had a great Monday.  I couldn't wait to get to my crafting desk tonight...  I sat in my comfy chair with my laptop in search of some inspiration, and as always, I found some!!   First I went to one of my favorite color challenges The Color Throwdown and loved the color combination.  I then went to Perfect Sentiments.  Their Challenge was to use an Uplifting Sentiment along with this Sketch =) I was all set!  I went with the colors at The Color Throwdown even though I was too late to post for the Challenge... I am happy with how the colors turned out.
The paper and flower are from Recollections.  The card stock is Close to My Heart.  The sentiment is also CtMH from the stamp set D1501 stamped with CtMH Black Ink.  The black sheer ribbon is from my stash...

I love, love, love Mo's Digital Images!!  I found a sketch I wanted to do over at Crazy 4 Challenges.    Mo's Digital Challenge had a Photo Inspiration Challenge this week.  So I put the two together to come up with this card.  I used the new paper pack Florentiine from Close to M Heart.  The image is colored in with Tombow markers.  And the card is finished off with a sheer ribbon tied in a bow.

Thanks so much for stopping by my Blog - wishing you all a great week ahead!!

I love the sketches at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. This is my favorite Challenge!! The Sponsor is Fresh Brewed Desings this week. I went through my Digi images and chose one of my FBD images for this challenge. The image is colored in with Tombow markers. The Chocolate CS, brads and ribbon are all CtMH. The Sentiment is from Verve. The print DP is from my stash.

Happy Birthday!!

Today I made a Birthday Card for a baby boy's first birthday!!  I used a cute Teddy Bear from The Stamp Fairy and colored him in with Tombow markers.  I used the Sketch from the Challenge at My Favorite Things.

The papers I used are from the new pack Dotty For You from Close to My Heart - currently available for $5.00 with a $35.00 purchase -available April 17th  through the end of May.  It has lots of great colors, polka dots, stripes...  fun, fun pack!!  e-mail me if you are interested...

Retro Sketch #5

Today I used the sketch from the Retro Sketch Challenge.  The paper is Footloose from Close to My Heart  I inked with Brown Bag.  I added 3 wooden buttons and 3 antique copper brads also CtMH.  The image is from Stitchy Bear Stamps and is colored with Tombow markers, inked with Brown Bag and attached with Pop Dots.

Inspired By...

This weekend I am at a lovely old Inn in Rockport, MA near the ocean with my crafting supplies and fellow CtMH consultants.  There is a LOT of Paper Crafting going on!!  (I need to get this entry done, shower and get down to breakfast... I have been told the Scones are to die for...).  Last night I made this card based on the Blog The Inspired Challenges # 17 and used the sketch from {Freshly} Made Sketches.  I am an animal lover and was intrigued by the inspiration of this Zoo Animal Growth Chart (I LOVE the ZOO).  This image from Mo Manning seemed just perfect!!  I have had many dogs and cats who love to sleep together - so sweet!   The paper and sentiment are Close to My Heart.  The image is colored with Tombow markers.
As I finish up this post, the seagulls are calling me from outside my window - cool!!
I think a walk to the ocean might be in order...
Thanks for stopping by!!
