Sweet Sketch Wednesday with a Twist!!

Hi there friends!!  Here it is, the last Wednesday in April - so hard to believe!!  Over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2, the last Wednesday of the month means it's time to get a bit Twisted...!



This week we are featuring Dearie Dolls.  If you haven't visited Mary Ellen's Blog, you really need to!!!  All (and I did say ALL) of her images are free downloads - WoW!!  So many adorable images, you are sure to find something that you didn't even know you were looking for!!

I've created my card for my dear friend Juanita's granddaughter's 6th Birthday.  This little girl Loves Cats and Mary Ellen had the perfect image - Must Love Cats!!

...she also LOVES pink!!

Wednesday!!

Hi there friends!!  I hope you all had a Blessed Easter!!  He is risen!!!  Risen indeed!!  I had a wonderful Easter.  Awesome LifeSong service followed by a family dinner at my niece's house.  Here is a picture of my Sweet William with his first Easter basket.  I was so excited to give him his basket with his bunny!!  I've been knitting for several months now and had so much fun knitting this cute bunny - I just had to make him as his name in the book was Harold...  Cute!!  For those of you who may not know, Harold is William's middle name, named after my Dad.
We really did have a wonderful day, start to finish!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!

Happy Wednesday my friends!!  What a wonderful weekend I just had!!  We celebrated my daughter's pregnancy with a Baby Shower on Saturday - Sharing a few pics =)  William will have a cousin in just 2 months =)  Two sweet boys to grow up together - Best Buddies!!  Are any of you Quilters?  I always feel like making a card (especially when following a Sketch) is a lot like making a Quilt.  My first love was quilting, then when I found Card Making, I found it is a lot like creating a Quilt, just in less time!!    Then, Sunday, at church I had the opportunity to serve in the Nursery...  That meant time with William and Jakob, what a Blessed Sunday - AND - I will be listening to the Sermon by Podcast at Lifesongne.com - I'd love to have you check out the web site...  LifeSong just started holding our Sunday Worship service in Hanover MA.  God is SO GOOD!!

Here we are, April!!  It actually felt like Spring when I left work yesterday!  March is over and I am still without my computer...  which is why I am posting late...  Soon I will have it back (I hope =)!!
