It's Wednesday Once Again!!!

The weeks go by so quickly!!  Mid February already and Valentine's Day tomorrow...  But today we kick off a new Sketch Challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  This week Krista Smith of Saturated Canary is our Sponsor.
Here is a little about Krista:

My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world and-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration! Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community! It's been a true delight! I'd love for you to stop by my challenge/inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge and join in the fun...And, while you're there, click over to my personal blog (Saturated Canary) and introduce yourself! I am a bit eclectic and touch on everything from family (I've got me a great one!) to fashion (obsessed!)...Please say 'hi!'...I'd love to be friends!:)

Birthday Wishes

Quick post of a quick card I made for a dear friend last night - Birthday Wishes!!
I used the papers (Winter Frost 6"x 6" pad from We R Memory) and ribbon from the December Key Ingredients Kit from Taylored Expressions.  Check out their Subscription.  It's like giving yourself a present once a month!!  I love it!!  I used a Pure Innocence image along with a sentiment from Lili of the Valley.
The base is from the $1 bin at my local A.C. Moore store.  How cool is that =)

No Challenge - just a card, for a friend.  I apologize for the photo quality - colors seem a bit washed out...

Blessings to you all!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday is Here!!!

Hi friends - it's Wednesday - Wednesday this week has brought a bit of a cold spell to the North East.  It's been a winter that has been a bit mild so the temps in the teens seem EXTRA cold!!  Thankfully I don't mind the cold, I actually love the cold crisp air!!  But tonight I am a bit chilled...  As I type this Blog post my two Boxers are snuggled up on my bed with me and I am thankful for the warmth they are sharing!!!

Wednesday also means it's time for a new Sketch Challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday!!  This week  our Sponsor is new one....         Floppy Latte!!
Here is a little bit about Floppy Latte:

Hi. I'm jessica (or FLOPPY) of FLOPPY LATTE DESIGNS. I design digital stamps and papers, and also rework old woodcuts and drawings and put them into digital stamp form.. and i'm stef (or GLITTERBABE) as i'm known in blogland. I also design digital stamps but not quite as intricately as FLOPPY does. Together we're the LATTE LADIES, or better known as FLOPPY LATTE DESIGNS. Jess is the more serious one and stef is the clown – always trying to make people laugh. ok. So she likes the limelight. Keeps me (jess) in the background creating. Together we offer a variety of stamping and scrapbooking images and items reaching out to everyone's tastes (so we think). Do drop by FLOPPY LATTE DESIGNS ( www.floppylattedesigns.com/catalog ) and have a look around. We are sure you'll see something you like and we guarantee it'll put a smile on your face!

AND Jessica and Stef have given a  $10 Gift Certificate  to this weeks winner!!  Yay!!

Here is the Sketch:

And, here is my card...

So excited to see your creations this week...   ENJOY!!

Blessings to you!!

Hello Tuesday Throwdown!!

Hey there Crafty Friends!!  It' early Tuesday morning and I'm watching some snow falling from the sky.  I'm actually excited to see the weather actually resemble Winter.  We have had unseasonably warm temps for January in New England so I'm enjoying this burst of Winter that has come my way!!

I'm very excited and happy to say that I have been invited to be a part of the Design Team at Tuesday Throwdown!!  This is my first post as a member of their "B" Team.  Our Sponsor this week is MelJen's Designs and our theme is Furry Friends!!  I have three furry friends in my house - 2 Boxer dogs, Boston and Summer and one Gray Kitty named Cosmo.  I used the image Too Sweet Kitty.  The sentiment I chose is from Paper Smooches.  This card is going to a friend who has a wonderful Orange kitty named Newman.

I can't wait to see your creations!!  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Blessings to you all!!
