Hi there friends!!  Happy Wednesday!!  Time for a new Sketch Challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!  Have you all been enjoying Fall, my favorite season??  I can't believe that Thanksgiving is fast approaching...  I love all that Thanksgiving brings.  This year I have so much to be thankful for, especially my Grandsons Will and Landon, now 9 months and 5 months...  my how time flies!!

Here are my little guys...  Love, Love, Love!!

I am also Thankful for my sister!!  She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer on my birthday in July...  she has been undergoing Chemo, and handling it very well!!  She had a CT scan this past Saturday and has gotten preliminary results that there has been MARKED IMPROVEMENT!!  Praising God for His healing!!  So many are praying for her, praying for a miracle and believing...
God is able friends!!

Back to the Challenge...
This week our Sponsor is Doodle Pantry

Hello, my name is Laurie.   I'm just a regular Joe crafter.  While trying to find digital images that met my own crafting needs, I decided to draw some of my own, as I had so many unique (weird!) ideas that I just couldn't locate elsewhere.   I sincerely hope something I've done inspires you to go create something to bring a smile to someone else and hope you enjoy creating to your hearts content with some of my doodles.. ~Laurie-   head on over and check out their shop!!
Also, I hope you will check out the rest of the DT cards over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!! -

Here is the Sketch:

And here is my card...

I am grateful for all of our Followers and those who so faithfully play along with us each week!!

What are you grateful for this season of Thanksgiving??

Blessings to you!!

  1. Oh, gorgeous coloring Sally! I really like the two-tone leaves red and green. The subtle richness is so very fall-ish. Thanks for creating with Doodle Pantry products for SSW2!

  2. What a great Thanksgiving image ... I don't think I've ever seen that one before. A really lovely card this week. I am also soo glad to hear about your sister's improvement. A Stage 4 diagnosis can be terrifying to hear; glad to hear that your sister is beating back the cancer.

  3. Such a great card and image Sally I do love the colour combo you've used works so great together especially those leaf papers. I can't get over how your grandsons have grown up so quickly both a so cute it does bring back memories for me with my two. I am so glad to hear about your sisters improvement, I just hate hearing that dam word cancer. My sister has lung cancer and I really think that this will be her last Christmas with us it's such a battle for her and her breathing having Chemo and then blood transfusions week about. The Chemo affects her bloods cells that why she has to have the transfusions. She's living one day at a time at the moment. Take care and have a great week.
