February is drawing to close which means a couple of things...  we are so very close to warmer weather here in New England AND it's the last Wednesday Challenge at SSW2 which means there is an added TWIST!!

I chose this Sweet Pure Innocence image.  Can you guess what the TWIST is to the Challenge this week??  It's one of my favorite techniques to use...  Monochromatic!!   I just love all the shades of pinks in this card  so fun to color it up and choose the papers!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!

I absolutely cannot believe how fast the week's go by...  do you feel the same??  Here in New England we seem to be getting snow twice a week - now, I'm not complaining because I DO love the snow and I am not fond of HOT weather, but it seems funny to me that every time I am preparing a Post, it's been snowing...

SSW2 and Pattie's Creations

Hey there friends!!  Another week has gone by and it's time for a new Challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!  Hope you have all found time during this cold weather to get to your Craft Rooms and create!!  I wish I could find more time...  but I'm thankful for the time I do have to get crafty!!

With Valentine's Day only a couple of days away, I chose to use her cute image "Sea Horse Love" to make a card for my daughter and her husband.  I haven't used your typical Valentine colors for this card, but it will do the trick anyway as my daughter (for some reason unknown to me) LOVES Sea Horses...hmmm...

I am so excited to share my project with you.  I created a birthday card featuring the NEW DIGI

Cutie Bug Chef from this month's release...

I fused papers from this yummy 6 x 6 paper pad from My Mind's Eye - "Hootenanny", just perfect for my cute little Chef who is colored up with Copics.  I added some tiny pearls to the cupcakes - YUM!!
I finished off my card with satin pink polka ribbon and white shear ribbon tied in a bow.

Choose Your Challenge... at Fresh Brewed Designs!!

It's Wednesday and time for the kick off of the February monthly Challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs!  Check out the Badge.  You have your choice of using the wonderful Sketch or the awesome yummy photo as the inspiration for your card!!  If you are having trouble deciding which to use, why not both!!

Here is my creation using both the Sketch and the photo inspiration...

I used the wonderful image "Warm My Heart Mug" along with a new paper pad from My Mind's Eye that I recently picked up with all sorts of sweet Valentine papers, to that I added some blue ribbon from my stash and a chip board heart paper pieced with sweet plaid paper!!  The mug is colored with Copics, I could go for a Warm Mug of coffee right about now, but then I could always go for a warm mug of coffee =)
