Tuesday Throwdown - Thank Your Teacher!!

Hi friends!!  It's Tuesday and that means time for a new Challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown AND it's Team B's turn, YaY!!  This week our Challenge is to create a card that Thanks Your Teacher.  Bugaboo is our Sponsor this week and has provided us with some awesome Digi's!!  I chose sweet little Ava, I LOVE her!!  I used some papers from my stash along with some fun ribbon that I found at my local Michael's, AND they were on sale - double YaY!!

Monochromatic...

Quick card and post and then I must sleeeep...

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge this week is "Monochromatic you say?", which I love!!  I chose my image and of course went with my favorite color - GREEN!!  I almost gave Noah green hair...  just couldn't bring myself to carry it out...

I used this week's Sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, papers and twine from my stash and all shades of Copics in my possession =)

Unscripted Sketches #207

Quick post tonight - I LOVE the Sketch over at Unscripted Sketches this week and made a birthday card tonight with it - Very fun!!  Great Sketch to use up some of those scraps we all have...  I used a favorite image of mine from Mo Manning - love this girl with her birthday cake, she just makes me smile!!  I colored her up with my Copics and used some paper and ribbon scraps from my stash.

I had a few cards to make and went on the hunt for a few Sketches...

For this card I used the Sketch from the current Challenge over at Sketch N Stash.  I used a cute Birthday Digi stamp from Sassy Cheryl's, colored her up with my Copics, added some Black sheer ribbon and stamped Happy Birthday inside the card - Fairly quick card to create this morning!!

Oh Snap!!

It's Tuesday friends, and that means time for a new Challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown!!  This week the Challenge is to Focus on the Sentiment... - what better way to do that than with a camera...?  I found this free image and sentiment over at the Birdie Brown Blog and knew they would make the perfect card for my Photographer friend Cathy!!  I used a new paper pad from Lawn Fawn and some ribbon from my stash - colored the image up with my Copics - and here is the result...

Baby Shower Time!!

Headed to a Baby Shower today for one of my nephew's and his wife.  So Excited!!  I saw this cute image over at Mo's Digital Pencil Shop and couldn't wait to color it up!!  The papers are from a fun new pack I recently found at Michael's - DOT Stack from DCWV.  Being a lover of all things Polka Dot, this 6x6 pad will be a favorite of mine!!

Thanks for taking the time to get to know a little bit about the gal behind The Doodle Garden digis!

I'm Jennifer L Nilsson (but please, call me Jenn or Jenna!). And I am blessed to be able to work full-time from home as a licensed artist.

I enjoy creating bright whimsical pieces for manufacturers, but also wanted to be able to offer something to those who like to craft. So I have begun my journey with digistamp designs with my Etsy shop: The Doodle Garden.

It's fairly new, but is growing pretty fast and I am SOOO enjoying creating these little whimsies for YOU!
