Fresh Brewed Designs welcomes New DT!!

Today is an exciting day over at Fresh Brewed Designs!!  Today Heather is introducing some new members to her Design Team and I am excited to say that I am one of them =)  I love Heather's sweet spirit and I love her images!!  Yesterday morning before work I broke out this sweet rubber stamp I purchased some time ago of a Coffee Truck - how cool would that be to have a coffee truck drive up to your house just like the ice cream trucks =)  It would certainly put a smile on my face!!

So, in anticipation of all the fun that lies ahead, I am sharing this card with you using a favorite stamp - kind of like a blast from the past...

All Aboard the Love Train!!

Hi friends!!  It's time for a new Sketch Challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!  This week we are Sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs!!  I'm excited by that for so many reasons!!!  I love their images and I love coffee AND I think the Owner Heather is pretty sweet too!!

I chose the cool image Love Train Mouse with the equally cool sentiment!!  When my son was little he LOVED trains!!  Right now we are waiting for my son and his wife's first baby to arrive, my first Grandson!!  I'm thinking he is quite comfortable as he is a handful of days overdue right now... Something tells me it won't be long now and soon enough I will be up in the attic retrieving my son's trains for the two of them to enjoy together!!

For now, on with this week's Sketch...

And, my card...  All Aboard the Love Train!!

The paper is a retired pack from Close to My Heart.  The image is colored with Copics and I added a bit of paper piecing to the "heart" car...  I used a heart border die and finished the card off with some brads from my stash.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and The Stamping Boutique

Welcome Wednesday!!  Time for a new Challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  I am excited to say that we have over 50 Followers after our first week - Yay!!  There is some "Candy" to be had once we hit 100 and then 200 Followers, so why not check it out and become a Follower...?

Tuesday Throwdown - Team B

Happy Tuesday!!  So glad you stopped by.  I have a quick Post to share my card for the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge.  Team B has had a bit of a vacation over Christmas and New Years, but now we are back with a Challenge all about Snowmen...  Snow Much Fun!!  Our Sponsor is Robyn's Fetish and the DT have been given some awesome images to create with...  I chose this cute Snowman holding on to a birdhouse - how cute is he??  

I used some remnants from a retired paper pack from Close to My Heart, colored the image with Copics and highlighted the star and heart with CtMH Liquid Glass.

We had over a foot of snow last Thursday/Friday with temps in the single digits.  Yesterday our temps hit the mid 50's!!  Thought I'd share two pics of the Snowmen my Great Nephew and his Dad made Sunday, and the sad departure just 25 hours later...

A "New" Adventure begins... SSW 2!!

Hi there friends!!  Happy New Year!!  It's Wednesday and that does mean it's time for a new Sketch Challenge but this week is a bit different.  Last week was the last Challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday...  This week is the first Challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!  With Arlana and Judi stepping down, I have been asked to continue the Challenge.  This is a new adventure for me as there is so much that goes on behind the scenes of a Challenge Blog...  I really had no idea!!  But, I am excited to give it a go...
