Sweet Sketch Wednesday and Digi Stamp Boutique

Hi friends - I have to say that I am excited!!  Not just because it's time for another Sketch Challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday, but, because here I live in Cranberry Country and for the last several years I have been wanting to see a Bog being harvested...  and this is the year!!  I've been scouting out the bogs and finally saw one this weekend.  It's an event that literally takes place in one day.  When they flood the bog, it is such a pretty sight.  The only thing that would have been better would be if the sun had cooperated...

I just Love Fall in New England =)

Tuesday Throwdown - Let's Go to the Pumpkin Patch!!

Hey there friends...  It's Team B's turn to bring you some inspiration over at Tuesday Throwdown!!  This week we are Sponsored by Freckled Fawn!!  They were so generous and sent a surprise package to each of the members of Team B - what a nice surprise!!  Our Challenge theme this week is Pumpkin Patch!!  I love to pick out my pumpkin, set it on my steps, and eventually carve it =)  I haven't gone for my pumpkin yet this year...  someday soon =)

One of the embellishments Freckled Fawn sent were really cool metal flowers!  I used one of them on my creation along with some long time retired paper from Close to My Heart (I was so glad I had a sheet left, perfect for this Challenge)...!!  I used an image from Robyn's Fetish and a sentiment from Paper Smooches.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #226

Tuesday Throwdown and The Colors of Fall

Hey there friends!!  Time for Team B to step up to the plate and provide some inspiration over at Tuesday Throwdown!!  This week our Challenge is The Colors of Fall!!  Fall is my most favorite time of year, so I was so glad this Challenge was for Team B =)  I just LOVE the cooler weather we are having and love seeing the colors of Fall starting to appear, more vibrant with each new day!!  I spent Saturday in New Hampshire and stopped by one of the many Apple Orchards.  This particular one is celebrating their 100th year - WoW!!  Here are a few pics showing some of those wonderful Fall colors...

         

There's just something about those GIANT Pumpkins that gets me every year...  Back to the Challenge.

Hi there friends!!  We have been having amazing Fall weather here in New England.  The nights are very cool and the days have been sunny and dry with temps in the low 70's - perfect!!  Oh how I love Fall!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday... It's a Boy!!

Welcome Wednesday!!  This week I have been working on a Quilt for my Grandson due to arrive in January, along with knitting a blanket and a sweater...  I guess you could say I am "Grandma Nesting"...  When I saw this sweet image over at our Sponsor's shop - Digi Stamp Boutique - I knew for this week's Challenge I just had to make a card for my Sweet Daughter-in-law Marisa!!
