OOPS!!

Sassy Cheryl's has a fun Challenge going on - Belated Birthday!!  Not to say it's fun to miss a birthday, but it is fun to choose an image that expresses just how sorry you are that you are late - the Sassy Sally image says just that to me:  OOPS!!  I used the Sketch from Sketch Saturday along with papers from LotV Nit Wit Collection.  The image is colored with Copics, cut out and mounted with Pop Dots.  I also added three little purple roses from Recollections.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #180

Happy Wednesday!!  I love Wednesdays - it's the middle of the week... almost to the weekend... and time to break out a new Sketch and DT Inspiration at Sweet Sketch Wednesday!!
This week our Sponsor is one of my personal favorites - Sassy Cheryl's!!  I love her images, especially Sassy Sally (hmm, I wonder why...)

Hi everyone! Sassy Cheryl here and I’m so happy to be sponsoring the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week.
I have been creating graphics and have licensed my work to companies such as Kohl's, Hobby Lobby and Shopko, among others, for over eight years. I started creating digital images about twelve years ago. I absolutely LOVE to draw and always carry a small sketchbook for those times when a bit of inspiration hits. It's been a lifelong dream to become a working artist, and besides deadlines, I LOVE everything about what I do! It really helps that I have a very supportive husband and son (they also can be my biggest critics!).

Through the digis I create, I’ve met so many wonderful, talented ladies. The projects they make using my images makes it all worth it. ‘Can’t wait to see what you will create with my Sassy images.

Sassy Cheryl is awarding a $5.00 Gift Certificate to her Digi Shop to the winner!!
Another great Sketch by Arlana this week...
Great Sketch for showing off those papers you love!!  I used a new paper pad I picked up from MME.  I am using Sassy Cheryl's Snowey & his I colored him up with my Copics and added Liquid Glass from Close to MY Heart to give him a little shine.
I'm so glad you have stopped by and I do hope you will join in on our Challenge this week -
I can not wait to see your creations!!
Blessings to you!!

Tonight I made a couple of cards using the Pure Innocence Gymnastics stamp.  The first is with this week's Sketch #97 over at My Favorite Things.  I used bright papers from the Amy Tangerine paper pad.  I paper pieced the leotard and cut the image out and mounted her with Pop Dots.

The second card is for the Challenge over at Sketch Saturday.  The paper is from sei Vanilla Sunshine.  The ribbon is from my stash.

You Make Me Smile

Tonight I made a card using ALL Close to My Heart materials!!  I haven't done that in awhile and I must say I love the way it came out =)  The DP is from the new Paper Pack Clementine.  I love the color combination in that paper.I distressed the Saddle CS by misting it with water, crumpling it up and then smoothing it out to dry.  Once dry, I used Saddle ink with a dauber and rubbed over the whole area - kind of gives the CS a "leathery" look.  I love the Burlap ribbon which is also new.  The brads are from my old CtMH stash.  I did color the image with Copics and then fussy cut it out with my CtMH Utility Knife - I LOVE this knife!!  Once cut out I mounted it with Pop Dots.

How cute is this image?  He is Sassy Cheryl's Noah - Love him =)  I used the Sketch from Sketch Saturday.  I am also entering this card in the Heart 2 Heart Challenge and the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge - Fall Leaves and

Thanks so much for visiting my Blog!!

Blessings to you!!

Anything but Square...

This week over at Sassy Cheryl's the Challenge is to create a card that is anything but Square.  I have been antsy to use an image of hers that is just so stinkin' cute!!  This little girl blowing the giant Bubble just makes me laugh!!  I used the Sketch from Deconstructed Sketches (again, second card in a row =) The image is colored with Copics.  Papers are from Cosmo Cricket - Tea Time.  I made the paper flower using a Sizzix Die, wet the two pieces, crinkled them up and set them under my bright lamp to dry.  I then smoothed them out and voila.  I am happy with how it came out and have to thank Kathie from my SSW Team for the instructions she had on her post this week - awesome Kathie!!  I also used lace trim from Recollections.

Here is the Sketch...

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I sure am GRATEFUL for Daylight Savings Time...  Up way too late tonight, so very happy to "Fall Back"!!
